Game Day: Manly v Bulldogs [Round 4, 2017]

This is one of the few articles I've read that acknowledged that Manly had an under strength pack. It also mentioned nth qld's omissions (and that's ok) but wow...a journo who mentioned Manly had players out!

I guess he'll be out of a job next week for printing such terrible truths!

Go Manly!
I was gobsmacked by that acknowledgement as well.
That was the main reason I posted the article.

And we all get to lie on the couch in our leopard skin g-strings with the rabbit fur lining and watch it live ..... living the dream. (except for those at Brookie, for you are blessed)[/QUOTE]

And I thought I was the only one that did that!

I hope first grade hasn't got this same buttered fingers mess disease that the Holden cup has.

my weekly prediction (was wrong last week, lets see how i go this week)

Dogs to win 1-12.... they have the wood on us and always seem to win in the tight games..
*taupau to pull off a stupid shot (high shot/shoulder charge/late hit off the ball)
*dce to be the most hated man on these forums for the next week
*nrl/refs/todd/lucifer/budah/allah cost us the match..

chance of rain all week

Really genuinely excited about today and sad im in Melbourne and cant be there. Big boys back on deck after Myles and Lawrence really stood up last week. Think we can ambush the dogs with a really aggressive mindset today. And its the simple things that will get us over the line - high completion rate, minimal errors, good kicking game giving us good field position from the halves, repeat set pressure, patience. Fundamentals need to be focussed on and if we achieve this i really think we can do a number on these bastards today - Go Manly!!!! Time to step it up a notch and make us proud 🙂

Lane has been named in the final NSW cup side just now. So it looks like it'll be Hastings and Brown on the bench with Myles and AFB. Interesting that Bainbridge hasn't played either for 20's or the named NSW cup team.

Positive individual arent you - thanks for the contribution

Lane playing reserves today
Hastings is playing 1st grade today
Jono Wright not named in reserves, is he injuries at the moment ?

So our bench for 1st grade
Hastings
Brown
Myles
AFB

Just watch the match of u/20's they lost 30-22. Played like 1st grade dropped way too much ball and gave away silly penalties. They should of won that match
