Nrl HQ are:
1) busy protecting Todd
2) engaging a barrister to investigate Todd
3) carefully ensuring Mitchell can play origin
4) carefully ensuring Greg can play origin
5) adding Hadley's personal vendetta to their board meeting agenda
6) looking forward to the next seagulls v hawks match

After the opening five rounds of the competition I wrote: “Three of last year’s top four (the Roosters, Souths and Melbourne) sat outside the top eight.

Sea Eagles. What a tough team. I have really enjoyed watching the Manly boys play each week. I doubt they have been at full strength even once this season, yet here they are sitting in equal second position and looking back down on the majority of the field. Their senior players have been outstanding, as always. However, the strength of this team has been the performance of some of the lesser known players who toil away relentlessly each week. The Sea Eagles will need to be at full strength come finals time if they are to challenge for the title but I am not prepared to write them off in any game against any opposition, so tough is their attitude and winning spirit.

On the whole Knights non-payment issue, what the h*** is wrong with Tinkler? Why does he always operate like this? He constantly runs his businesses like this, not paying staff on time, and then almost daring others to take him to court. The story about Boyd refusing to do media/club commitments just shows you the devastating effect this can have on a club and culture. Now Boyd is a tool, but if you are not getting paid why would you do extras?
