If we dish up against Penrith, what we dished up tonight, this place will go into meltdown.

And probably with good reason because they will rack up a cricket score.

I don't think I can watch.

Yeah, yeah they'll spruik all the usual bullsht how they're focused and committed to effort this week, they'll play better and maybe competitive for 65 min but even if by some miracle of Easter that we actually win, it won't erase this abysmal effort and the knowledge that we'll throw up plenty more of these putrid efforts this year.

Let's face facts. We're not at the panthers level. When was the last time they turned in a really bad performance? The best we can hope for is that every one of our players is an 8 out of 10 or above and they're not at their best. A repeat of the dragons performance and it will be an embarrassing score

Let the pain begin, although, I will still be cheering them on.
We lost to ex eagle assistant coached Eels,
We lost to ex eagle assistant coached dragon,
Now up against ex eagle player coaching the Panthers.

We have let in 86 points in 4 games for an average of 21.5 points per game.
That tells you clearly where the problem is, particularly our goal line defence is absolutely pathetic !
The top teams leak around 13 points a game.
END OF STORY !!
PS. Strangely enough our defence in the middle of the park has been ok, but once the opposition gets into our quarter it is like we just don’t aim up and teams score at will.

Would be nice if Lodge was fit for this game, drop Aloiai to cup start Toff and have Lodge come off the bench… I have no idea why Aloiai continually gets a walk up start it’s frustrating he offers us nothing

Yesterday was the 8th episode of the Manly Way ..... the way that we've really become used to seeing. The rest was all a big joke....

Of course that was before what was dished up last night.

I don't think people will be turned off by one unexplainable performance like yesterday. We need to lift them against Penrith and one of the best ways to do that is to get out there and be vocal.

Now, if they look insipid and get flogged, I'll have to get back to you.

If Penrith don't put 50 on us they are having a bad game.

I was expecting to be 2-3 win after round 5 and that's where we will be.
The only real win is the Roosters, they are a premiership threat, the Souths game is a nothing game as they have won almost nothing since mid last season and are travelling worse then us.

We can still turn it around and sneak into the top 8, I had us around 8th at seasons end and that hasn't changed.
