Happy as I‘ve been in a long time watching us play, fantastic to bash the premiers for one of our best wins in a long time, our forwards were great, special mention to Toff and Brown outstanding.

Listening to the game on ABC Radio they really praised our forward pack and it's utter and complete dominance. Particularly Paseka and his defence, also Sipley and Brown got some huge wraps. Our goal line defence was also a huge talking point in the game.

They just got in the grind as they say , Brown led the way Sipley followed and Paseka finally woke up and got Aloia to keep it going , Congrats to DCE he wasn’t going to die wondering and was every where A great win

First time this year we looked like we were actually intent on defending our try line. Even managed to do it for repeat sets. And everything just kinda flowed from that. Who would have thought?

So glad the boys fired up after last week's miserable effort in the Gong. Good things will definitely happen if we can hold onto the ball and stop the other team from scoring.

The thing I liked about that win....

There is still SO MUCH MORE improvement possible in our team.

We still need to work on our defence (too many missed tackles) and our error rate is too high.

But we fought hard all match.

We didn't let the Panthers steamroll over us.

Brown and Sipley were great. Brown in particular changed the momentum.

Ben T's pass for that try - pretty.

Brooks....I've said it before but gosh it is good seeing him in our jersey. He's going to be busy this September....baby number 2 due then too 🙂

I thought Aloiai’s first stint was pretty decent but you’re right, the bench lifted the intensity. I actually had the same thought that Paseka and Aloiai were thinking, gee we need to lift here.

I don’t dislike Dylan Edwards the way I dislike Gutho, as Edwards seems like a pretty unassuming bloke without ego. But I am sick of seeing him crab around to such great effect. He is dominant each week and yet, has no real passing game, is modestly fast and built like a pretzel. Bugs me every week.
