Game Day: Manly v Roosters [Round 20, 2022]

this is just so frustrating. Last week half the team is out with covid. This week half the team are out because they don’t like the jersey.

You gotta feel for des and the coaching staff.

Surely they get a full squad to pick from next week.

We'll take it all out on the Eels.

I think we will end up surprising a lot of people tonight. The run-on team (excepting the wingers) looks pretty good to me (All things considered). The pack looks solid. Halves as per usual. It will be interesting to see how DW goes at centre. Segeyaro will give us a point of difference when he comes on for Croker. De Luis has been pretty good for us every time he has played first grade. Zac Fulton has a lot of potential for the future. Who knows even Boyle might have one last good game in him? At the very least we look more than capable of holding the Roosters to a reasonable score, and might even jag a win. Particularly, when Matt Lodge gets sent off for simply being Matt Lodge.

Although it’s been a tough week, and the end result may not be what we want on the score board, I am positive and proud of what the team will do tonight.
