I'm hoping miserable conditions will be to our advantage. Our team is underdogs and know they need an 80 minute performance, Chooks might be too important to get down and dirty and will try to take short cuts if we can stay with them for a while.

Not sure about that, souffs have more members than manly and rorters combined and qld will tune in to the cows.

Game quality is a different thing but this is all about ratings

Both Perrett and Lane have been named

Perrett is recovering from a fractured eye socket. He has been named in jersey 22 which to me sounds like he is a late inclusion into the 21 so very unlikely to be ready but Baz has allowed himself to use him if he can. If he wasn't thinking about it then why bother wasting a spot.

Lane by all reports was woeful last week, especially defence not even NSW cup standard.

Now you know why.

PS the same thing was written last week about eh dogs having the biggest pack in the league.

I own up when I'm wrong. I was vocal about the size (or lack thereof) last week against the Dogs. Trent and the pack proved me wrong so a tip of the hat to them.

I would love to see them back that performance up with more of the same this Friday.

The remnants of Cyclone Debbie has forced the closure of all schools in Qld.
This arvo the border towns will be deluged.

It's already raining in Sydney and will increase in intensity by tonight.

So Friday should be a boggy game in driving rain.

Anyone going out to the game
Bay 39-40 are our allocated bays
I am going out should be a really good indicator of where we are at.

The way I see it is a win win situation.
We are clearly not going in as favourites and I don't expect us to win but this game will show us what areas we need to work on.

If we give away to much ball, I see a score line of 34-14
If we play like the last 2 weeks 22-14 to the roosters.

Still going to got out and support the boys, hope to see many fans in both bays 39-40 let's make our boys know they have our support.

Ok I know I am acting like a bit of a princess but is there any undercover areas in bay 39-40 or am I going to be sitting in my raincoat with a wet bum?

Late Mail: Kane Evans (calf) has been ruled out by coach Trent Robinson, but centre Blake Ferguson is closing in on a return. Ferguson made it through Thursday’s training session and Robinson said he was confident the representative back would make the final cut.

Have to say that I don't mind that at all. Only change I'd be looking at is replacing Brown but even then he did a decent job at dummy half.
