We are f**ked
Since when has Lodge ever given the team anything near 8/10? His last first grade appearance was quite possibly one of the worst front performances ever from a Manly front rower and even Grant Wooden was embarrassed
Absolutely destroyed the Bulldogs in Round 26 last year, with Paseka. Ran like 150m. Massively hot/cold.

I think our backline is looking pretty good.

IF the forwards can at least semi hold the young Tiger forwards , we are in some chance of winning.

That said , they’ll be steamrolled , and our backs won’t be able to save us.

So there you go , semi positive , but still very negative.

I think the surprise will come when we beat a couple of near front runners , who will take us too easily and we’ll ambush them.

Still think we can jag at least a couple of wins , but very probably not against the bottom sides who smell blood in the water and lift knowing they’ll win if they do.

That's not good.
We better bump up our offer to da Silva
Hard to watch this guy get smashed every week. Does nothing for his future health at a personal level and totally stymies our team as it’s close to the most pivotal position in a team these days.

He is just not good enough to do the job. It’s so frustrating they have persisted with him for five years, particularly the last two. . The fact they have is on its own a perfect indication that Siebold isn’t up to it.
Then thinking Jazz is a good option too.

Easily the worst hooker rotation in the comp. No one comes close.

Croker and Jazz are his go to combination for hooker when fit and he seems to embrace it with his praise for them. The crazy thing is neither of them are hookers. It’s total lunacy .

I think Manly will win, however, Manly have lost the past 5 games where we have been favourites.
The streak has to end at some point. Hopefully it is on Friday.
Losses are Valuable lessons and Great opportunities to build Resilience feathered friend
There is no such thing as Doom and Gloom in the Manly Dressing room under a Winning Mentor

Adversity, Set backs and Crisis are the Catalyst for developing The Winning Ingredients of Inner strength, comradery and Resilience .

This explains why underdogs under Great Mentors over achieve and win

The Sombre Excuses are not the Manly Winning Way

no Froggy.
He is out again with concussion and is due back next round.
From:
"Jazz Tevaga starts at hooker and Jake Simpkin joins the bench with Lachlan Croker in the concussion protocols after suffering a head knock at training on Tuesday."

If you go into a game with Excuses
Dont humiliate your self and run on to the field and play
The game is already lost in your mind

Agree with the overall sentiment but that forward pack beats no top side when the whips are cracking playing sides desperate for 1-6 positions.
Tommy at 4 should have them in with a chance to beat Tigers / Dragons and rough hope v dolphins.
13th to 16th finish

Id be starting Simpkin for Jazz and starting Jazz for Jake at 13 tbh and Jake to bench .
Anyways what would I know Im only a pie eater .
If we do manage to jag a win I hope that Siebold sticks with Simpkin at 9,poor old Croker needs to retire I think .
Hoping Lodge can add some go forward and justify his selection

Lodge starting......every time he's played this year he's been gassed within 2 effing minutes.

Sadly we don't have the back row stocks to replace someone like Haumole with anyone half decent, just Waddell.

I feel so sorry for Jazz. We bought him as a middle forward and our "coach" plays him as the dummy half ... ahead of the actual dummy halves in the squad. Jazz does his best out there but he's no dummy half. Not surprisingly his best games have been when he played lock.

And that brings me nicely to the position of lock ... still Jake's despite the fact that we are down 2 front rowers and that Jazz has proved better at the position. Jazz should be the lock, Jake in the front row.

The Tigers have lost their last 5 games. Somehow I can't see them making it 6.....

The fact is top sides do get beaten by inferior packs that develop a superior resilient Mindset that is Inspired by their Great Mentor
NRL is a simple game . What ever a Players Big Name Status is . The bastard can not run without legs when you chop them down with effective tackling technique that is practiced every pre season and every week at training . If it is not affective it is not Inspired or taught properly .

The Moral of the Story
The underdog has the most underestimated bite under a Great Mentor

As I said above, I feel for Jazz because this really isn't what he signed for.

FMD, one of our assistant coaches is Mick Ennis, himself a decorated dummy half and the one that Fox League is pushing to replace Seibold. You'd think at least he would know that makeshift dummy halves don't work.....

it is obvious that jazz is best at lock and Jake at Prop
It is obvious that when you pick the right players in the team and pick them in the most affective positions , You have the better change of winning the game

Des Hasler ,Seibold , Marshall, Obrien and Payton are the most underwhelming and Frustrating , underachieving coaches

Who will lose the game on Friday night ?
The Coach that underachieves most

Any chance he sees worse deficiencies in Jake S and Gordie?
