What I really admired about that performance today was that it was on the back of a very poor start. Our defence out wide was as loose as a goose. But we regrouped and hit back. Brown Bullemore and Paseka played a huge role in reasserting control of the centre of the park. The Brown impact was immediate. I’m so glad we gave him a shot! He is paying us back in spades. Burbo had a huge game today both in the pack and in the centres. So glad to see Turbo back at his menacing self and ever reliable Jake was rock solid.

How good is Simpkin going?Not sure what it means for Croker if he becomes available again ,but Simpkin needs to be playing the majority of the game.Which means a dummy half like GCKT would be better suited from the bench,for his impact

With the evolution of Hoppa, could we possibly see Talau moved into the backrow in a Lawton type role next season? Having that smaller, more agile backrower is really helping us.

I was happy with Bullemore's game today. Really liked the play where he backed up the intercept and made it to dummy half to enable the ball to be moved wide for Turbo to score.

Bullemor has been great for a while now and adds a different element to what Paseka and Aloiai bring.Very good on his feet

Is what it is. I remember in 2021 he had a extended stint in the second row as well he was really good. Just the majority of time seems to be the backup dummy half. Been a really handy player and as u said was great today shutting down Fifita.

So unfortunately with Lawton leaving and Waddell not extended our only out and out second rowers for next season are Haumole and Burbo. We are going to have to sign someone thats for sure.

I think Waddell should be extended.

He's not in my starting 17, but I like him as an injury/rep/suspension backup.
