Mistakes were going to be a given tonight. We had to just throw caution to score points. Maybe with a little more patience and game management we could've put a score on them. The Warriors were rubbish and when you look at their F/A they shouldn't even be in the 8.

It was great to see some passion finally, but you’re right, there have been plenty of other more important games where a blow-up was more than warranted. Maybe he has turned a corner and we will start seeing Seibs ripping doors off hinges next year. Bring it on I say. Better than the blank stare into space look.
I have seen him agitated before.

It’s just been too long between drinks.

They certainly look like easy fodder for the panthers.

So it really all came down to that snooze fest in the wet at Brookie a few weeks back against the Chooks. That was the 4 point game that would’ve had us in the finals.

Exact same as 2023 funnily enough, if we had beat the Chooks in the second meeting in 23 we would’ve played finals and they would’ve missed.

And hey, last year they ended our season too.

Don’t like that team very much

A crazy night at Brookie to end our season - a bizarre start, very scrappy and error-riddled game, Seibs losing it in the coach's box and a fitting end with a DCE field goal to clinch the win.

The last 15 minutes were atrocious, with a packed house waiting for us to put the foot down and end with some excitement but instead watched error after error and ill-discipline , then win by one point.

Imo DCE's form in the last 4 weeks, Turbo's form and most of the team all improved but it was all too little too late. Similarly, Seibs' anger tonight was all too little too late. Where was all this a couple of months ago. One or two games should've been wins and we'd be playing finals footy.

Extremely disappointing to end outside the 8...but at least we left Brookie with a win.

I would like to add it was a nice finale to see most of the players do a final lap of Brookie and wave to the fans including non-players tonight like Tof Sipley, Haumole (with arm in a sling), Jake, Reuben, and Brown.

Didn't see Talau or Schoupp but possibly because they were both injured in the game.

I couldn’t believe my eyes seeing that on the screen at the game. Thought I must’ve been blind, no way it was Seibold.

Incredible reading this and finding out it was in fact the man himself. Quite happy to hear, but why does he randomly blow up in the meaningless game?
He just got word that his dealer had run out of ketamine.

Great balanced analysis ALinda

I think the passion from Siebs and the Manly players the lest 3 weeks, and tonight was just to ensue it’s more of the same next year.

The hope is we are “not so unlucky” eh?

I hated that win
Never have I hated a win more than that
We are so far off the pace and years away from finals is soul destroying
I know exactly how you feel. I am right there.

The 3/3 finish guarantees more of the same next year. Very unManly.

Manly need a whole new forward pack, but they are going to spend the offseason thinking they were unlucky this year.

Ironically, I think back to the first warrior game… 🤔

Wouldn't get to down, missing Ola, Paseka, Ailoi, Garrick, Sipley, Kaula, Jake and Brown. Then lost Clayton F, Schroo
pe during the game and Turbo & Jazz sin binnings. Our game management was really bad, but we still won the game. Ps sorry about the spelling.

Agreed.

What an absolutely woeful game of rugby league. Pretty fitting end, really, given the crap we have dished up this season.

Kinda bizarre that Seibold finally blows up in the coach's box after watching our repeat offender clowns do everything in their power to throw another game away. He must have been holding that in for a while.

And Cherry kicks the wobbly field goal that ends up being the game winner. That's about as much of a "fairy tale ending" as he could hope for. Career with us in a nutshell.
I’m just glad the season is over Ronny

This season eas the worst I can remember in 40 years of supporting them. Worse than 1989, the Northern Eagles era, 2016, 2018 - hell even 1999 and I was really pissed with them that year quitting their club with likes of Kosef, Gartner, and so many other stars in the team. This year - 2025 - tops the lot!

I need a summer off this bull****. I need to cleanse myself of this soft poison for a few months to get some kind of positive outlook again, but to be fair I have never moved out of negative during the Siebold era.

We need lots of changes bro. LOTS

Starts with the coach, then about half this motley squad of players

Watched the game late, so didn’t follow the game day thread… but Saab… wow! What a fall this season. He had one really strong carry where he bumped off a defender, and the rest was nothingness. The guy is a genuine KOOK.

Jazz can gust FU. Plays hard when money is on the line and fell off a cliff after he signed his deal.

I’ve commented on DCE elsewhere so won’t bang on here. Happy to see the end of his Manly reign and wish him well for the future.

I thought Waddle actually played very well. LODGE and TKO also put in. Navale is someone to hold hope for moving forward. Loved the reception for Joey (and was a little frustrated Seibs didn’t bring him on earlier). Falafel didn’t let us down, Hoppa very good, and Brooks had quite a good game too.
