Did the "Cecchined" call originate from the game where he gave the Gold Coast a penalty to win the game for Matt Orford diving on the ball ? Will never forget that game. Was an outstanding touch judge for a number of years before he became an ordinary referee with a lot of ego. (ala Harrigan)

Yep I remember that. Every time we see that same play the commentators will say, if the hit is on a player from a team they like 'he was pushed off the ball it's a penalty' but if it's s team they hate (ie manly) the commentary goes 'it's legal to shoulder to get to the ball' seen it a hundred times since.

Matt cheatin is no better than those commentators, and sadly he was still one of the better refs in the nrl.

The game is rotten and it starts at the puss filled would that is the head, Todd greenturd.
