Michael Ennis

In hindsight, it appears that @BOZO is vindicated, and we genuinely should've sacked everyone in the club after we made the finals last year. Now whether this is from BOZO's genius understanding of club dynamics behind closed doors, or just pure, eventually vindicated, hatred, remains to be seen.
Our Manly forum is not about us Posters feathered friend
Our Manly forum is all about our Passion for our beloved club the Legendary Manly Sea eagles that we all very much desire to be successful and win premierships
Passionate Manly people do not Hate Manly people . We only hate Manly Losing with a passion.

Through out our Long suffering and painful decade of premiership winning decline we have remained steadfast loyal and we will always support our Manly club but we will never ever support the Mediocre ones that bring it down to their level and stain our golden Status

Personally ,I have been a proud supporter of our Legendary club through its Glory days and I have seen the Manly Great Leaders that have made Manly Great
The leaders that we have now running the club could not hold a candle to all our premiership Winners . The leaders that we have now have Lead us into another Crisis .
We are only extending our painful and degrading decade of premiership winning decline with this lot and the sooner they depart and give others the opportunity to lead Manly to its Glory days again the happier we will all be .

Back to the thread title: Michael Ennis

Much has been written here about his lack of experience, what qualifications does he have? Blah blah blah

Anthony Seibold has been head coach of 3 NRL clubs for a total of around 5 years at this point. He has been an assistant coach to Craig Bellamy and Eddie Jones and Queensland Origin.
Now that's experience!!

I say sack the bloke with the great coaching resume and throw in Ennis, the bloke with a distinguished playing career who has seen a good number of coaches up close, and who supported Manly as a kid.

Fun fact: Ennis and his wife have been creative with their kids names. Apart from their first born Jack, there's Kobyfox, Randy Wolfe, and Evelyn Swan.

Kobyfox has tiktok where she dances with her Dad:
Also, he punched Nate Myles in Origin. What more could you want?

Cost me a fair wack of cash that game. Up by five and in possession FMD

Yep,had to laugh at the end they were some long winters, luckily for you he managed to miss the spoon at the Eagles and gifted it to us lol
I can't believe he only won 5 games coaching the Bulldogs....and we thought we had it bad.

But didn't do well with Manly as a lower grade coach
Most nrl coaches would struggle with Manlys nsw cup team in Ballins defense
Ballin excites me as a prospect. A 2x premiership winner with an impeccable personal approach to training, who has the respect of the old boys. I can't think of a better candidate to be honest. Just needs a good team of assistants.
I think the Manly coach should always be someone who has played for the club. Because it will always be more than just a job.

Not too sure if it would be the best fit for Ennis to go straight to a head coach role , maybe as an assistant but don "t really know how his general credentials or ability to improve individual players is actually rated right now .
Probably in Siebs case or ongoing tenure prospects , is largely going to be determined on some of his key players playing some much better standard footy again and side gelling better all round .
D C E and Brooks should be definitely capable of doing so much better , Turbo , no certainty there and Jake , not a shadow of his former self but impact dropping unfortunately and not real hopeful that it can improve that much
Hard to reconcile also the recent drop of in effective defence when there were so many better efforts against some good rated sides on other occasions this season

At this point Ennis is worth a shot , I don’t like him as a sports commentator but we are going that bad what have we got to lose.
