Well not exactly mid, as not all clubs have had the same number of byes, but Manly has played 12 of our 24 games so it's as good a time as any to start a mid-season progress report.

Off the top of my head...

B... tries hard, good spirit, but lacks concentration at times. Can do better.

We are doing about the same as we did last year.

However, we have no Paseka, constant injuries, off-field rubbish, and a bit more inconsistency. We didn't have those negative factors last year, which made me more disappointed that we lost three in a row nearly full strength last year. We have been garbage to a reasonable extent.

This is a B performance, in previous years we would be absolutely down in the dumps, whereas in some areas I feel we have improved on last year, e.g. centre and edge defence. Remember, last year, we had basically the Schuster release, and that was it. We've had a club implosion and we're in the eight. By Manly's standards over the past decade, that's not terrible.
