Moment of truth for the Manly Pelicans

Well, the brutal Sate of Origin game two just finished with no Manly players on field. The whole lot of the Manly team instead have been putting their feet up as they approach a bye, and the return to Brookie with two winnable games against Souths and Balmain, and then have another bye to put their feet up again before coming back fresh as daisies for the last 7 rounds.

You could not have scripted it better. Imagine being a player from Penrith, Bulldogs, Brisbane, North QLD bashing the crap out of each for a meaningless state game, while our lot are held in cotton wool. You think we have any excuses?.

No we do not.

Get the F%$k out of your heads Manly, and start playing football. If this team can't make a run to the eight from here they never well, and should be fully disbanded bar 4 or 5 players.

I'm here for the ride home, but I'll go fully Ryan if they don't do the job from here.

Hate to say it mate, but strap in for disappointment. I can’t see this turning around. And I’m travelling from Brisbane to Brookie for the souths game with my son who’s never been to Brookie. We were in the GC last Friday and if that type of performance is repeated, seriously I will not renew my membership.
