Most underwhelming Manly EVER

I may have seen worse Manly teams on paper, but never seen such uninspired performances....
They look confused almost like a bunch of strangers thrown together and the effort and energy is at an all time low.
I will be honest, never understood how Manly started as favourites over Tigers.
Waiting for the "proud" calls at the post game conference and it's no suprise with this attitude it's translated into the players, who have zero expectations on them.
The confidence is rightfully flat as a tack, the belief is lost and as a fan watching Manly for decades, I don't think there's been a time I have felt so disinterested in the game....in fact season 2025 has been the most disappointing season I can recall....

That was a tough game to watch, Brooks and Evan’s I don’t know if they could have played worse with the ball, same as last week they are not delivering, almost 600 games between them and they can’t manage any attacking stats again.

There are rusted on Manly fans whose loyalty is called into account because they aren't on board in any way with Seibs as our coach moving forward. Those same people who call anti Seibold sentiment anti Manly sentiment appear to value clean cut respectable guys playing in their team. They don't want the Taylan May's or the Fainus of this world because they are too rough. They sprout platitudes and endless wishy washy positivity, framing it as supporting the club.

Is it any wonder then that our coach and owners do what they do and say what they say. From rainbow jerseys to consistently being proud in defeat. Welcome to Manly circa 2025.

Makes me wonder if I can continue spending my hard earned money to but membership and merchandise from the club. After 37 years of supporting the team, I am ready to walk away. Current team is harder to watch than the Peter Sharp days.
Players don't care, they keep losing games and walk off the field smiling and laughing knowing they will automatically be picked next week.
