Then on Saturday turn every tv in the house on the AFL GF. Ratings are done by signal boxes in the TV now ( pretty sure anyway) . So my protest will be abstain from NRL and help the AFL Look to dwarf the numbers.

Don't think the TV monitoring is there yet, so unless you are one of the very few people who still determine ratings figures, you can save your power.
I might watch some of the Intrust and Women's games but once the news is over at 7pm I will be unplugging the TV antenna and it will be Netflix only, I don't even want anyone just flicking over to see the score. And it will probably stay that way for a few days if the Scum win - it's nothing for most of the year about the NRL but they don't shut up down here (Vic) whenever they get anywhere near a premiership.

Good stuff. Saw them up here 6 months ago. Is it going to be some of the originals? He had a young backing band who were awesome!,they did an extended cover of TNT, apart from ACDC original, the best I've heard.

From personal experience I can tell you that your chances are nil .... but nothing amuses a mother in law like a man crying for the return of his town halls ..... at least suggest she lends them to you for a minute so your wife can kick you in the nuts again just for old times sake ...
