Hasn't played since 2016...9 years...hardly a giant of the modern game. So great commentators make great coaches now...Just what we need another coach who walks across the grass in bare feet. He has none zero zilch credentials to be a coach in the NRL.Well as much as I hated him playing against us he could play and his analysis of the game on Fox is top notch.I feel a little bit disloyal saying it but I think Siebold is not taking us where we need to be.
Ennis is certainly an x player of the modern game, so should know what we need to do, and importantly who we need to do it
Full support of the board and they are goneSo Seibold will be sacked by the end of the month, that the usual pattern when officials say a coach is safe.
Its not that easy to be a coach . No one doubts Jurbo's passion for Manly, but take over as coach thats drawing a long bow.Jake Turbo should quit and take over as coach. Get a bunch of ex Manly boys in to assist. P s off the dymocks, Kennis, siebold etc…
Strange you should say that. Post game last night, the other Foxies were asking Ennis what Seibold would do now and his response indicated he was in the dark and he never really knows what he is going to do.Interesting suggestion with Ennis, given he’s part of the current malaise that the club is in
I didn’t hear it,but given how the team has performed under his tenure,I doubt Seibold knows what he’s going to doStrange you should say that. At least that's how I heard it. Recollections may differ

Mate i would like someone with some runs on the board. Actually had some success as a coach or been in a good, successful, winning system. I don't rate Fox Sports as part of that system.Who is your suggestion ?
One of the problems I see with Manly's appointment of Seibold is he's clearly not interested in building something. He went all in on the Trbo's and DCE to win him a premiership. Now the Trbo's are broken and DCE has flown the coup and we're left with nothing.
He could have turned down the job.I'm not sure that I understand this point in particular.
DCE signed his current contract extension in 2022, before Des was sacked. Jake and Tom signed their current deals in 2019 and those don't expire until the end of next year.
I'm not sure what Seibold was supposed to do here?
Put some youth around them and be OK with maybe not winning a comp for a few years. Instead, he tried to put an experienced pack of bargain buys around them and the results speak for themselves.I'm not sure that I understand this point in particular.

Would have kept Weekes and have him at 5/8. The money used on Brooks could have been used towards a good quality forward....all while keeping Fainu.Put some youth around them and be OK with maybe not winning a comp for a few years. I have it on good authority that Brooks was purchased and Latu Fainu was let go because Seibs believed the window was open then and Latu wasn’t ready.

Especially when you factor in that keeping Latu would have resulted in holding Samuela.Would have kept Weekes and have him at 5/8. The money used on Brooks could have been used towards a good quality forward....all while keeping Fainu.
