I hate to say it , but whatever signings we are getting will be at best a 30+ Thompson (possibly sic), and maybe a few fringe or better 1st graders for depth.

Tom and Jake are now on premier money (much more than snake and skivvy), upgrade to Walker, and Green extending possibly with a bit of extra coin, AFB increase (deserved), Hastings on full price, DCE has his ratchet clause, Uate may still be subsidised I can't remeber, and then there is the rest of the team with god knows what upgrade clauses for appearances etc.

I will be surprised if we do actually land another 30 year old backrower tbh.

To get a big name, we need to let more than Myles (who knows if we are subsidising this year) go.

Can't wait unfortunately. Putting up with Miami dolphins with cutler at qb yuk, the world/heritage cup may give me some fix hope the frogs can turn back the clock.

Frank averages 75 running metres and turns 32 next season , so what you see is what you will get next season . He wont get any faster or any bigger as he has peaked at his age . What we need is a back rower that can run over the 100 metres mark and this is why the club is going all out for Joel . With Joel we also get a player who hits hard and is ***Dominant*** in defence .
We also get Joel Thompson with a Sea eagle already tattooed in his back , so he is a ready made Sea eagle !!!

how does he make us a top 4 side instantly? that's an odd statement.. we are still weak in left center. Kelly is OK and Parker is about the same but haven't seen enough from him. We also need another prop maybe 2 for depth. Both our wingers can't catch which is a big problem and we have no goal kicker. we will make the 8 again as we should but unless we get a goal kicker we will struggle again (top 4)
I have a feeling sironen will have an even better year next year he was really coming along and finding confidence in his abilities. Frank can be on the bench or a back up if we get Thompson which I'm realizing green needs for those short balls close to the try line as Frank was never good at those and makes fa meters.
As for a kicker I don't see one I'm the market unless we somehow get jarrod crocker lol

I say if we keep Jorge fit we will be there abouts. Watching matt wright rag dolled for rest of season showed how important it is to start set with a good metre eater. Centre I say Parker going to be answer for interim. Get crap errors out of tom game and a short kicking game and get help for Marty we will be there.

Oh BTW Klemmer is still not out of the picture as his Managers request for a contract extension was rejected by the dogs. I hear he asked for an additional $150K a season to stay- that would make him a $650K a year player....the manager has been making calls but he has already signed a "if I leave dogs I will go to Manly" document. Not much space to move because if he goes elsewhere Manly have a legal claim? Guess he will stay at Dogs.....

I don't think one decent player will bring down the potential of the side as a whole (unless he has shockers like he did against dogs every week 😉). If Jorge and Siro/Thompson are on both sides of Kelly i'm sure his defence will develop so much over the year and he will be protected in a sense with these two outside him
