No wonder they are called the Rorters

I agree that math is powerful. Have you ever looked into quantum electrodynamics? So, the question is....did we discover or invent math?? Sure, we "invented" certain mathmatical concepts like lines, shapes, numbers etc from observing nature....but we have since gone on to use these concepts to "discover" mathmatical equations and are usually surprised by our finds. Bernhard Riemann talked about the different (new) geometries you'd find in curved surfaces in the 1850's...then Einstein came up with the theory of general relativity in 1915 using Riemann's tools. Amazing!

So if these mathmatical laws already exist...who created them?
Arko?

Quantum electrodynamics......if that’s some kind of pseudonym for Pornhub, then yes I’ve looked into it extensively.

Hmm. We may have stumbled on a significant discovery, namely for clubs such as Rorters, the salary cap is merely a massive hologram.

Why would it be a pain in the arse? Don't the aliens that genetically modified our dna and shared advanced technologies with nazi scientists want to help us anymore?? lol

Science! Lets venture off on a slightly related tangent....

It's funny that back in that time period I reffered to (the 40's), some physicists were saying that they believed we live in a computer generated universe (computers in the '40's???? Yes the germans strike again lol...Konrad Zuse invented the first computer in '36-'38, the Z1. Not the best, but the Z3 in '41 was a ripper!). And now days we have theoretical physicists like James Gates using adinkras to find evidence that suggests the universe is a massive hologram.

So what? Well think about it a little bit.....what could the link be between computer software and reallity? A computer uses binary codes, ones and zeros....on and off. With correct combinations, they can create what you desire, be that on your computer screen or a three demensional object. You don't see 1's and 0's because your computers CPU processes the binary code as colours and shapes pretty much instantaneously, and there are no limits to the combinations!!

Now....what if we think of our subconscious mind as a computers CPU? What ever instructions you give it is taken in without judgement or consideration and our reality is created from there. If you boil it right down.....the material world we live in is made up of energy (light flashes that flash on and off to create energy codes) So reality and computers are pretty similar in my mind in the way they both function.

But how could we possibly know if we exist in a giant computer program?? Simple....look for evidence of existing codes in the laws of physics. That's what James Gates has done. In the equations of supersymmetry he has found doubly-even self-dual linear binary error-correcting block codes. These are codes that are commonly used to remove errors in computer transmissions. This unexpected discovery suggests that these codes are likely omnipresent throughout nature and therefore....our perception of reality.

So what? What does it mean to say we live in a universe that appears to have been designed by quantum computer? Well....it points to an intelligent creator. That's why so many (and there are a very large number now days...and that number is growing due to their scientific studies) physicists believe in God. The simple minded trust nothing more than their own "intelligence". They won't even enlighten themselves to what is going on in the scientific world they claim to have faith in....

Anywho......

What's so good about the moon anyway....apart from mining...which, judging from all the open cut scarring that we call "craters", has been exhausted. Mars, baby! That's where it's at now!! MARS! @:p

Slow day. I love cooking silvertails style....

When testing his hypothesis .... James Gates the theoretical physicist ran full speed head first into a brick wall he had told himself was only a construct of his own mind and therefore willed it out of existence ...... other theoretical physicists have so far been hesitant to continue the experiments ....

Who discovered light or even electricity?

ps what do you make of electric universe theory?

Point is, i suppose the systems you use to understand something will provide you with the answers to that something. If i use my knowledge of astronomy to investigate the stories of Revaltion i can clearly see that the stories in Revaltion and just a guide to the solar system. The four beasts? Summer, autumn, witer and spring for eg.

I've discovered via extensive investigation often resulting in analysis paralysis, that you can pretty much reverse-engineer anything to fit a mathematical equation.

The reason being? Well, when mankind has labelled every occurrence in nature with a mathematical value, applying the laws of mathematics to those assigned values means a mathematical outcome.

Does that mean we live in the Matrix?

Nah, it just means we've tried to quantify every natural occurrence with manmade values & laws & chosen to believe when we come up with a measurable result that we've cracked a code. Further extrapolation upon those results using the same manmade values & laws doesn't mean we're all bots in some greater power's mainframe, just that we've built a self-fulfilling theory on a strawman.

Forget bits & bytes, I say - simply enjoy the randomness of nature for what it is instead of always trying to contain it within boundaries our minds can understand.

Merry Christmas everyone.

This style of navel-gazing is commonly associated with white men of overly comfortable station in life (see R Descartes)
I suggest anyone bleeding, or hungry, or in jail, or who has a loaded gun pointed at them ... has a far better grasp of reality, and little time for the idea that the universe is a massive hologram.
I dont buy that theory. Ive been shot at and time slowed down. My reality definitely changed and my perception of the world ws skewed.

Says someone stuck in the Matrix . @:D

Well... surely, I can’t be the only person on here who believes that the six “moon landings” are ABSOLUTE rubbish... like they somehow managed to get through the Van Allen Belt with 50 year old technology, but can’t achieve anything more than low earth orbit in 2018... completely ridiculous. NASA explain this away by claiming that they lost the technology required to go back to the moon... aaaaaand that it would be a real pain in the arse to get it back...
I dont know about the six moon landings mate but i can reassure you that the roosters have landed the 2018 premiership and I am not one of the tall poppies to chop them down.
If your shrewd enough then you will be good enough .

If they win the next one your use of the word “ shrewd” might need rejigging , and that is infinitely possible.

My guess would be something like this ... which adds up to about 7.73 mil
That's a guess as to their current deals. But as to what you mean by 'value', if they went on the open market most would attract bigger offers than this.
However some players such as Radley Manu and Mitchell might even currently be on less than this, as they have had break-out years. Their next contracts will be worth far more.
All guesswork of course.
Yes I thought about 8 mil and with another 4 players added they will come I'm around 10 mil .

I did........now for another bottle of vino.
