Gutherson - a local junior sacked because he was deemed no good - is now the captain of our mortal enemy, their match-winner and goal kicker.
And don't come up with that lame reason he was sacked "because he wanted to play fullback". He rarely plays in that position at Doesn'tmatta, filling in everywhere, and the sickening part is that he seems to be enjoying his football.
A great local talent wasted, and we have to recruit a player like Green to try to make up for Gutherson's loss. Green is a reasonable player, but nowhere near as good as the local kid.
I hope the person who made the lamebrain decision that Gutherson was surplus to our needs has been sacked by now.

No TW, I think that person is effectively running the (off-field) show at Manly.

Ironic in a way, because Ivon Clearson is running the (on-field) show at Faecalmatta.

Maybe Ivon's dad played against Fulton's boys, Brott and Scett, in the juniors and called them nasty things like, 'Hey aren't you one of H.R. Pufnstuf's little policemen sidekicks?'

And they haven't forgotten.😉
