Non-Manly Games [Round 18, 2016]

Hope manly are looking at Nu Brown he is a gun, he is going great guns in reserves and should be playing FG he can also play centre. He has done well so far against Penrith set up a try and his defence and kicking has been good also.
He's also handy if you need some mobile phone advice

Sharks may be winning right now but their attack without Maloney and without the go forward of both Graham and Gallen is kinda haphazard.

I tend to think you are correct @Turbo .

And now Penrith have committed the ultimate sin and gifted Cronulla a try to Paulo. Christmas came early for him there, gift wrapped, special delivery.

Cronulla look like they are going to get their 13th win in a row.

Only Easts (1912-13 and 1975), Dogs (2002), Souffs (1912-13 and 1925-26), Manly (1995) and Melbourne (2012-13) have won more games in a row.

They may possible win all remaining games all teams outside the 8 accept Melbourne in round 26.

To match Manly and Melbourne (15 in a row), the Sharks will have to beat the Chooks next week and then Newcastle.

I can see them doing that.

I can also see them then beating the Tits, Raiders, St Merge, Souffs and the Chooks (again) before they face Melbourne in Rd.26. This could well end up being the all-time record undefeated streak (Easts won 19 in a row in 1975) if their players can stay healthy.

Unfortunately for the sharks, and to the great pleasure of everyone else, cronulla will win too many games pre-finals, and fall at the last hurdle.

Manly 83 and 95 all over again.

However, even worse news for the Sharks is that their window shuts after this year.

Just a matter of time before Coen Hess is FARTT'd in our 2017 squad...
