Non-Manly Games [Round 23, 2019]

Couldn’t help myself, had to have a look at the one-eyed Eels forum. This is a beauty.

**** your quotes off Brad. You are truly a ****ing myth. Talk a big game and deliver the same **** every year. 5 years and counting.

This year has 2017 written all over it. A bloody fluke where every possible result from other teams has gone our way!

A very favourable draw, fumbling and limping our way to wins and massive blow outs. Always setting new records for points conceded.

It's the same excruciating viewing over your 5 year tendure and god ****ing help me... a 2 year extension!

Absouletly nothing has changed with instilling discipline, accountability and coming up with a tactitical game plan that works.

Round bloody 22 and the players look like they are having their first trial game for the year.

Before the unicorns blow a gluten free banana cake out of their prolapsed piss holes... look at our draw, for gods sake, who we have played over the past 6 weeks and how piss poor our wins have been. Gritty? Patient? Controlled? BULL****! All BA throw away lines for stumbling our way to a win AKA 2017.

When has the Rouse Hill Rhino bogan of the year ever been able to get us up for the games that count? Off the top of my head I can think of half a dozen where we came up with a big ****ing duck egg.

We are pretenders just making up the numbers while ever this clown is in charge.

By far the Eels are the most painful club in world sport to support

That is indeed a “ beautiful thing”.

That Cook tackle on Oates was the best play of the season for a magic moment in a "Non Manly" game.....Oates scores that 99% of the time and it was the Match winning play with just 2 mins on the clock.

The match review committee gave Roberts a grade two charge for dangerous contact to the head and neck.

Roberts will be suspended for two weeks if he takes an early plea and risks a three-match ban if he unsuccessfully challenges the charge at the judiciary.

From the same game South Sydney forward Jaydn Su’A was hit with a grade one careless high tackle charge for his 48th minute shot on Broncos’ centre Alex Glenn.

Su’A also received a grade one charge for dangerous contact to the head and neck for his stray elbow in the same tackle on Glenn.

Su’a faces a fine for the high tackle charge and can avoid suspension if he takes an early guilty plea in relation to the dangerous contact charge.

So much for Souths crying that Storm don't play in the spirit of the game.

And what happened to Reynolds? He should be stood down for 4 weeks to ensure he recovers from that head knock that stopped the game.

But doesn’t it so often happen !!

We lose to sides we shouldn’t lose to and beat sides we shouldn’t beat.
I think it's how Hasler coaches, he makes sure we are up for the big games sometimes at the expense of losing the easier games. He knows how to have the team peaking at finals time.

Yes maybe but we often did it under the previous coach as well.

This Campbelltown surface is making Brookvale look like a well kept bowling green.

Pongo is still sipping his strawberry smoothy
