Game Day: NYC2017 SF1 - Manly v Cronulla

The boys are going great. Some flat patches and a couple of poor 5th tackle options have kept the Sharks in it. If Sharks get a majority of possession in second half then 12 point lead won't be enough. We need to keep the intensity up and be VERY disciplined. Wright is good in attack but he doesn't seem overly willing in defence, he'll need to start "enjoying" the physicality of the game if he is going to go to next level.

These refs are way better than the first grade version from what I've seen.

I know. They ref with purpose and confidence. They even make players take it back to the mark to play it and penalise when defenders run people off the ball.
What's the difference? No reliance on technology = less scrutiny on every decision, which makes them trust their own judgement. The players seem to just cop decisions and get on with it too.

This team has a ruthless edge don't it.
They'll be hard to beat for the title.

This. Without the technology it forces them to take full responsibility and that's motivation to do your best
