I mean, how hard would it have been to do a tour .. start in say Africa for a morning of laws and miracles, throw in a natural disaster for effect, on to say Europe for a matinee special of fire and brimstone, and finish off with night time spectacular in South America ...

Just seems lazy to me ... poor application to the job at hand ....

And yet, the message reached the entire world, split history into two parts, and survived all the attacks from intellectual community. Even to this day. Nothing short of amazing... Good thing you ain’t God @Woodsie, a very good thing indeed.

Been doing a spot of pondering myself @Woodsie. As a believer in the Darwinian model, do you think evolution is still unfolding in man today? Or do you think the process has ultimately reached its conclusion in monkeys and humans?

Really? The world is ravaged by war, starvation, violence, drugs and greed..

Both statements are a damning commentary of the results of 2000 years of God's efforts .... for you to now praise those same efforts as nothing short of amazing is nothing short of schizophrenic ....

... and then ... good grief ... you praise the fact it took 1500 years for the message of God's Grace and love to reach South America ... way to go Mr efficiency ... delivered by God fearing lunatics that proceeded to kill all the locals and steal their Gold .. I can only assume for the glory of God ....

Are the joys of the ponder .... yes, I see the human race evolving for quite some time ... for example vegans .... what would be the result of say 10000 generations of only eating grains and vegatables .... how would that effect out digestive system ... would we develop a second stomach to help with the process ?? ... would we become smaller, less muscled ... our dentition would certainly change to start .... which would change our jaw, which would change our face and neck muscles, which would change our spine , etc etc etc ....

However, as the above changes were brought about by diliberate actions ... in the true sense they would not qualify as a mutation ... but the results are the same .... would all that in time be enough to cause a split and a new species being created ... don't know ..

However I think science and technology will change us a lot faster than the evolutionary process ... we are living longer, maybe soon for ever ... will we still need bodies with AI machines to do our biding ... we may become just brains in a jar ....
