I assume that is my post in the top 30 thread you are referring to? I had been trying to figure out who the player was training with the NRL squad. He has appeared a couple of times now in training footage. I'm almost certain it's Ashton Large. Sounds like a great pick-up by the club as the wraps are big on him, and at 16, to be training with NRL must mean big things are planned.

it looks similar but onitoni’s hair has been a lot shorter then that all pre season so I’m guessing it is the brother

Ashton Large is listed for the 2025 Magpies Harold Matt's squad. Don't think that's him in the screenshots. Interestingly, some of the people on the Wests Tigers forum think he'll play out 2025, and then move to Manly in 2026. Parents probably not happy with how Onitoni's departure was handled, but I think it's likely that Ashton was signed with the Magpies in some sort of way until the end of 2025.

I don't smoke but Walsh being in the top 30 seems like a good indication.
