There is no A.I. Just better computers

THE OFFICIALS

Matt Cecchin and Gerard Sutton have been named as the referees for Origin I.

Brett Suttor and Chris Butler will be the touch judges.

Bernard Sutton will act as the senior review official in the bunker, and Ben Galea will be the other review official.

Just hope Nate and Jake have zero injuries when it is over. Blues by 6. Missing Slater, Thurston, Matt Scott and Inglis should be too much for the aging QLD side. Can the new maroons step up to the plate?

The only reason we don't like Qld is because they hate us so much. And do they still even hate us so much? It started with the more powerful NSWRL using Qld born players to beat Qld. Surely they've got even for that now. Meanwhile, nowadays which is the most privileged club? Clue: it's in Qld.

I dont think you can add slater to that list.. Missing someone whos injured is different to not selecting someone because you believe u have better players ahead of him..

Qld by 6...

A spine of smith, morgan/milford, cronk and boyd still absolutely s@$ts over nsw.. Esp if bird spends time at 9 as rumoured..
Nsw have a few better players up front, but qlds backline is lightyears ahead.. Even without jt and inglis

I will care about origin when the refs stop deciding results

so by the looks of it never
Cant agree on that one... Im happy with tedesco at the back... But if all were fit, i dont see how tommy turbo and dugan miss out.. Can also see hoppa back one day.. I count all those guys as fullbacks, and think having a backline with those 3 fit and firing would be much better than a backline with either morris brother or furgusson...

Its an annual catch up with mates - Drinx/BBQ - so will be good for that.
The game doe's have an action packed feel and though it's still physical - lacks that barbaric toughness of years gone by....used to love the 1 on 1 battles and far bigger contacts.
Along with how the game has a more touch footy feeling won on quick plays through the ruck - those big hits are few and far between.
Also for the record imo - can see how NSW have gone for this big, fast 3/4 line, but again on the weekend - how they can leave out Croker (Raiders) from the centres and throw in fullbacks is hard to digest....the current form guide is certainly not part of the selection process.

Tips are Ferguson anytime try into NSW 1-12.

The real game is on Sunday !!

Our entire back 5 are eligible for NSW. I reckon that backline would run rings around the backline NSW have picked. Uate and Walker both could/should have been picked on current club form.

But all the better for Manly that none of them have been.

It's hilarious up here the Morons suggesting they are the underdogs.

Forwards sort of cancel each other out so let's compare the backs AND the match winners.

And there you have it, QLD (at home) by 10.

Yes I'll be watching , although cringing to have to listen to the Nein commentary!

And that bull**** 30 minutes which they'll stretch into 45 or 50 ( bet the game doesn't start to about 8.20pm to maximise Nein advertising) before kickoff.......groan!!!

@COMMANDER , one day , yes one day it will be back to a contest again.

Queensland will come back to the pack with the following not playing Slater/Inglis/Cronk/Thurston/Smith.

The ones following are still good players , but no absolute future immortals that you can see.

To be honest , my Blues bias aside, it will be better for the game when it's a toss of the coin each year.

Who is this "Biff" guy that people keep talking about ? Is he in the 17 ?

Biff is from Hill Valley and he hates manure
