No I actually agree. In most cases the women involved in rugby league television media are purely there for tokenism. And they're always very attractive women, to suit the blokey culture.
Progress is female refs and touch judges. Even many clubs have ball kids now, girls and boys. instead of just boys.
I've only seen little boys at Manly. I wish our club would move towards the future and give some little girl Sea Eagles nutters, just like I was as a kiddie, the chance to collect the footies and hand over the kicking tees to their club heroes.
