Seriously-what is going on!
I understand we have key players out, but where is the enthusiasm-especially in defence.
Matai good return was the only highlight. DCE-FMD terrible
Kite/King-hate to say it, but maybe time to pension.
Ballin is looking very slow...**** it was awful.
Hopefully we come back next week with some better efforts!

I think it's all about the contracts. The ones looking ordinary are the ones off-contract. Sign or go, that's got to be the untimatum from the club. I'm sick of the media going on about contracts, I just want to see some decent footy.

Totally agree with the contract agreements.
Cherry! His worst game since last year's debut. How many tackles did he fall off? A line-drop that went 2m forward? Come on. That was hardly worth $85k let alone $400k.

Parra were terrible.... We were WORSE!

King is always fairly solid-but Lussick is ****ing ordinary-honestly. Way over rated-if he wants to go , then PISS OFF!
DCE was a joke in defence tonight, and I love this bloke.
Choc.......I think he is on the decline also. Still playing solid, but I think he has peaked. A bit worried-but like I said, when the rest of the TEAM is back, we may not notice these deficiences as much.

Keiran-sort out whether you want to stay or not....If not, then **** off so we can steady the ship

Kings stat's will be like normal m's sub par = which I think should be 100m
(I know Gallen is a freak but come on if he can make 200m+ 4 games straight that's what all hit up merchants should be aiming for)
Tackles will be high. I can live with him staying.

Kite should get the tap on the shoulder and released.

I hope late in the season Cunningham and Stromquest who have big eff off like motors (Gallen/Graham) get unleashed on to the NRL and we've got them long term.

We don't need impact props i.e Georgie we need guy's who can do 30+ tackles and 120m.

Not sure if anyone else noticed that as soon as Mauro and Nood went off we lacked go forward(again)

I love stats like the next bloke but how many minutes each plays compared to whether we have the ball or not times makes a big diff

From the moment the eels were smashed by penrith I thought we'd lose this one. The slimeys were under intense pressure and they did play with spirit.
Manly had a shocker but it's still very early days. Even golden boys like Cherry occasionally prove they're human and play ordinary.
We've got players missing and coming off a horrible opening shedule.
2 from 5 away isn't time to write us off.
We'll recover from this bad patch. I think Jamie and Gifty are back next week.
Besides we have won two premierships in the past four years so what have Manly supporters got to complain about?

Would have preferred a win obviously but I'm not concerned one bit about how it affects our chances this year. We will be there in September.
