(Future). Whilst maybe just maybe releasing arthur for literally anyone that could assist with our injury toll. And i mean anyone. Cause anyone is better than someone who can't play all year.

Assume, Newcastle would not have been able to take Arthur if Bryan was still on their top 30 books for 2025 as he would have been #31.

Why such a big rush to make arthur move on then? There could of potential avenues. If not i don't see why its necessary to give arthur away for ****s and giggles. We are essentially just helping Newcastle out

I can see some logic on this.

Now that Walsh is performing at NSW Cup standard, Arthur is surplus to requirements. Bryan would be a signing for the future but if we get him now the club can get him settled in ahead of the preseason, and perhaps front load some of his expenses in the salary cap. There's a lot more to being a football player than just the matches.

According to the article it was Hetherington not Bryan blocked,maybe Bryan was the consolidation prize?
