We have looked into the Choc jersey auction.

The auction did take place correctly, the auctions work in the same way EBay does. If there is a bid in the system higher than the maximum bid you place, they will still be the highest bidder. We have a record of all the bids and from our end all went as it should have.

Given the confusion, we will be creating an auctions 101 page for fans to avoid any problems in future.

Thanks to everyone who supported the auction. It was a great success , we hope to do more in future (suggestions on the types of items you would like to see would be most welcome too 🙂 )
