MVP: R 25 v Dolphins

3. Koula - having a purple patch at the moment. Easily our best for the last few months
2. Hoppa - dropped his first carry and wasted our only challenge inside the first 90 secs. More than made of for it. Wing is his spot at this age.
1. Tom - was he just a benefactor of a poor Dolphins team? We'll see next week. But he passed and ran well today.

I thought Navale was fantastic, Brooks played strongly, TKO was strong as always. But again, the Dolphins were bad...

3. Koula
2. Turbo
1. Hoppa

Forwards played well, halves played well, whole team showed effort. Don’t agree with the way he made his announcement regarding his departure but he has been a servant to the club, happy we got the win for DCE’s 350th

3 Koula
2 Navale
1 Bully
TKO, Burbo, Toff & Lodge all vg - Turbo & DCE much improved from the last few games.
I couldn’t watch the game live but followed progress on silvertails game day thread - I watched it expecting Waddles to have had an absolute shocker , but apart from the two dud passes to the fins, one of which was on the fifth tackle I thought he had a reasonable game.
Why was Tommy Talau replaced with Schoup ? Was he injured Schoup’s bad defensive read lead to their try to give them 18 points.

Just watched the match. Everyone was good.

Koula - extremely good and a threat every time he touched the ball

DCE - The best he has played for a couple of months. Passing, anticipation and footy smarts was outstanding

Turbo - hit the line hard and some superb passes, especially to Hoppa.

This is belated, most played so well it wasn't easy to decide:
3) Simpkin - 42 tackles and our no. 1 dummy half
2) Lehi - 2 tries, 250 metres, 4 line breaks
1) TKO - 148 metres, 30 tackles in 46 mins.

Closely followed by Koula, Burbo, Turbo
