Is anybody excited, concerned, anxious or expectant about the team announcement today?

I must be entering my tragic stage .. I still care .

Surely weekes gets a run .. surely!

Who else?

I'm interested (and care).

Always liked the 'lucky dips' at the local shows when I was a kid, so who will be picked?!?!?

The shadow knows.

It's clear Des is in self preservation mode... what's to limit the damage so wouldn't expect too many changes/ young guys getting a run

The definition of “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.”

I'd like to see something different, I'd like to see us go down swinging by trying something outside of the box. Weekes to fullback Koula or Parker to the wing, Schuster back to 2nd row if Davey is still out Fulton on the bench

My perspective is ....

We are now playing for our future

I would like to see some of our young Manly boys of the future get a run

I think that would excite our fans because we have had enough of this past year

When has Des ever published a dead-set, in all probability, nominated as selected team?

It will be the same as last week, excluding injuries.
Des is a Manly Icon a Many Idol and it really breaks my heart that he is in this predicament

I was so excited when we came back . I had so much expectation

Some how I still have hope in him in his ability to rise and resurrect

We are also playing this week to end the Raiders and Sticky’s season. There should be motivation in that.
There should have been lots of motivation to win in our last home game of the season for pride in our jumper and our fans . That is a more happy ending to our season than ending the raiders

Raiders have a lot to play for and will treat this game as an early finals game, they are only 46pts behind the donkeys on for and against. They'll be thinking one big win over us and a Donkeys loss on Thursday night will see them into 8th spot. We need to show up mentally or it's going to be an even bigger loss than the Sharks game.

I agree, but given they didn’t care enough about their own season, I can’t see that being a huge motivation, sadly I think we‘ll be just going through the motions.
