You can agree with me, I refer all my decisions to the vid ref and it never overturns them.

The other half...on the other hand, overturns a hell of a lot.

I've heard that the video ref's can now only overturn the on field ref's call if there is good evidence to show that the initial decision was incorrect.

BUT
The fact that a ref sends a decision upstairs means they are not sure what happened so why should the video ref have to place any weight on what the ref's thought?

Why? Because it is the new policy. The on-field refs make the crucial call, try or no try. Which was always their job, before the advent of video refs.
Of course sometimes they are not sure, sometimes they simply guess, and sometimes they get it wrong. Before video reviews, everyone just had to live with it.
Not a perfect system but the rationale is it's better to have the on-field ref guess than to have the video ref guess.

I just don't understand why now the video refs have to have conclusive proof in order to overturn a ref's best guess.
