They can do it simply because they have spots available in their top 30 ... and if they wait until the new August signing deadline they can sign a new half back then for only a couple of months in this years cap ... so they could sign a $350k Maloney for about $100k ...

Talk of salary cap relief is just horse shiite ...
Sure thing, thanks Nick...

Manly did this and bought an injured hooker to cover for their suspended hooker. This is the difference between the two clubs

What about our current list of players ? Its more than half the team. But we don't matter. Lets help the Roosters though.

Manly Sea Eagles

  • Tom Trbojevic (hamstring, round 5-6)
  • Jorge Taufua (Achilles, round 5-6)
  • Haumole Olakau'atu (elbow, round 5)
  • Curtis Sironen (knee, round 6-8)
  • Karl Lawton (Achilles, round 11-12)
  • Andrew Davey (knee, season)
  • Manase Fainu (stood down, indefinite)

During 2020 this list of players were out for Manly at the same time. Yet Keary is crucial to the Roosters.

Martin Taupau (concussion) – Round 15

Joel Thompson (tongue) - Round 15

Tom Trbojevic (hamstring) – Round 16-17

Addin Fonua-Blake (lower leg) – Round 18

Dylan Walker (foot) — Round 18

Manase Fainu (stood down) – indefinite

Brendan Elliott (knee) – season

And not one of those historical situations have any thing to do with your current childish ravings and assertion that the Roosters are currently seeking salary cap relief ...

1) Irrelevant ..Any player that gets injured from any club during a rep game is entitled to salary cap relief
2) more Irrelevant .. yes those players would be considered .. they have 2 top 30 spaces available ...
3) way more Irrelevant .
4) Please .. must be nappy change time ..surely ..

All that work simply to demonstrate you have no grasp of the current situation at all ....

And yet, there is one article above that claims the Roosters are seeking salary cap relief from the NRL for Luke Keary. Whether or not they get it remains to be seen.

Reading glasses champ... put on those damn reading glasses.

Honestly forget all the petty rivalries we may have with other teams.

The Roosters are easily the biggest blight on the game. they are able to get away with so much more than any other club through all their contacts and deep pockets.

The storries are rediculous.

They consistently sign the biggest superstars in the game - in the last 4 years they add Keary Tedesco Cronk Morris Bros SBW Crighton all either superstars or rep quality & also the best juniors that are chased by both the rugby league & rugby union world Sam Walker Sualii Manu etc..

NO club signs the established quality they do, yet they all play for them for unders on their contract so its able to fit under the cap in the NRLs eyes..

If you heard the story about how we lost JWH to them even though we offered to beat the Roosters offer and then offered more for Mitch Pearce when he was coming up through Asquith.

Yet both sign for the Roosters.

Rorters is a fitting name.
