That was a good game.
Sinners great victory for them considering the pressure sharks put em under early.
Nonetheless the season is long and Saints are regularly early season premiers.
None from one for me.
That's not too bad.

Fifita is such a goose / carrying on like a jerk and trying to referee the game. He and Gallen make my skin crawl. Dragons are a very good side this year.

Raking the ball and not getting penalised is standard in these early rounds, just like early last year. I hope we are awake to that interpretation against the Eels.

I don't buy into the commentators calling it a loose carry. Not in the spirit of the game in my humble opinion. Should be penalised in my opinion on a captains call video replay - if there is evidence that the ball was reefed out.

As unlikely as it would seem, they didn't want something bizarre happening like if the ball cannoned off the upright and was picked up by a Sharks player who goes the length of the field. I was dumfounded as well at first. I kinda get the logic, but couldn't see Whiddop missing from there.

Yes I thought of that also; however, I’ve seen those little kick for touches come off the side of the boot for the opposition to pick up and run down field also.
