Round 3 - Other games (2018)

What a disgusting stitch up... when has a reff EVER called markers not square during GP, let alone ignore a blatant illegal wall??? That is a disgusting decision. It has to be either corrupt (less likely) or a complete brain explosion by Klein.

I should add, those markers had little to no effect on the actual FG attempt

Reminds me of the Reynolds fake dangerous throw penalty that cost us golden point a few years ago. Another rort.

Another blackeye for the sport.
An absolute stitch-up by the ref. How was that a penalty when there had been no penalties given in the Golden Point first seven minutes?
Obviously the NRL was worried that the Donkeys were going to be beaten, and they couldn't allow it.
I feel sorry for the Tige-pies. No team deserves to be rorted in this way.

It just shiiits me no end, how much "assistance" the donkeys get in this competition. The silver lining is that it fuels all those teams (and us, specifically). It makes our success so much sweeter.

Hopefully this is another nail for golden point.
Even the nein commentators couldn't believe it. If they're not careful the NRL may decide to fine them for making unwarranted attacks on match officials 😉

So, is the edict coming down from Greenturd this week that refs MUST start actually refereeing in GP? Will he step up and tell us that it's his fault because he told the refs they actually are still getting paid to do their job in GP?

I feel for the Tigers, they were ripped off. The penalty that decided it was bad enough, but there was a pass thrown late in the second half from outside of the field of play by the Broncos that was allowed. Shocking decisions, what a farce.
And what was even more devious was not a single TV replay to scrutinize, even with the commentators questioning it as well.

Fmd these 10 m out offside penaltys . Are the refs too harsh or players too dumb???.
Players are too used to getting away with it. This crackdown is years overdue, but of course they had to let the Storm have their premiership since being 3 metres offside at every ruck is one of their specialties.

On the plus side, the Panthers and Tigers losing means that we could be as high as 4th by the end of the round as long as we beat Souths. Every team out of the Warriors, Dragons and Knights that lose this weekend would see us another step closer to top of the table. Not that being March premiers interests me but it would be nice to see all the same.

If they are going to have a crackdown, come out and tell everyone. Give the teams an entire offseason to get used to the new interpretations. Don't just spring a weekly surprise - let's see who can guess what this weeks crackdown is on?

They've been policing the 10 metres pretty consistently since the start of the season, and I'm pretty sure they did say they'd be cracking down during the off season.
