I love the 4 points BUT we have yet to beat a contender and until we do so we’ll only be considered pretenders!

We wont go as far as being pretenders . The Raiders and the Eels have that title . We are not pretenders , so far we have shown we are a team potentially good enough to challenge for the top 8.

Yes, Parra were rated top 4 in the off season "dream season" and after our big win I was excited like you were but the reality is after 4 rounds they are wooden spoon material on zero points .
What is our bench mark The doesn't matter eels ?
I don't think so .

Bench mark will come in due course but we are 2-2 with a +41 points differential, worse places to be than that.

I understand what you are saying but my bench mark is not looking at the worst, it is looking at the best , the teams on top of us .
We have the opportunity to improve and I hope we do .

I don't necessarily subscribe to the one man team theory.....

But doesn't-matta seem next to useless without Semi there to constantly get them out of trouble 😵

I would rather the bench mark of beating the form team the Dragons by 2 than thrashing a side that has shown they are not capable of winning a game .
That is my bench mark . We all have different point of views.

The good thing about the thrashing of parra will be our F/A should be ok . Im with you that a hard fought grinding win over a team in form gets more satisfaction , but still happy with the odd flogging .

We normally lift when we play the better teams and can be complacent against the weaker ones, so 54/0 is ok
