This guy would bring Suli into the game then we might be able to see if he is any good. His offloading ability alone is amazing but his defence iv noticed has been awesome as he has to help Moses all game. Dce could really benefit from him and he can kick taking pressure off dce like lyon used to... ah Sir Jamie i loved that grubber he could do. Plz Manly and Des make it happen. Brown is good but nowhere near as good as this bloke! Hopefully we make parra pay overs to keep brown and get Matto if not Matto or brown then brandon smith

Would be a great addition to the club, Jordan Riki is off contract this season also, had a good aggressive game against Parramatta.

Did a good job in defence nullifying the attacking left edge of Parramatta.

Parramatta are facing another contract fight as they prepare for their blockbuster against Melbourne on Thursday night after it emerged that representatives of Ryan Matterson had contacted rival clubs asking for expressions of interest in the boom backrower.

Matterson has an option in his contract for next season and The Australian has been told by several clubs that his management circulated an email last week requesting interested clubs to come forward.

Matterson is only in his second year at the Eels, having departed the Wests Tigers in acrimonious circumstances at the end of the 2019 season. He is one of several big-name players at the Eels who are off contract at the end of the season, the group headlined by halfback Mitchell Moses and NSW backrower Nathan Brown.

Like Matterson, Moses has an option in his contract for next season with the Eels and has been offered an additional year by the club as they attempt to convince him to stay. Brown has been linked with Manly, although he has also been offered an extension by the Eels.

Jetski is off contract so if he doesn't come good this year we should send him packing. Riki did have a good game he's a big boy and strong! We need to make parra pay for taking foran and watmough. Should make a play for Sivo as well just to pump up his tyres

Parramatta did us a favour by taking Foran and Watmaugh., as they really got value out of those two, NOT.
It was a shame Foran didn't make his intention to leave BEFORE DCE signed with the Titans, otherwise he would have signed on with us for 900k rather than 1.2m.
The one or perhaps two players we should be crying about are Gutherson and Koroisau, Gutherson can fill any position in the backline, superbly, and Api can cover hooker and half, with those two still with us our team would have taken on a different meaning.

Ryan Matterson is a worry, very good player, however, he left a premiership winning Roosters side to chase the money at the $hittyTigers, and before the season was up he wasn't happy with his contract and sought a release to Parra, now his agent is sending out emails regarding his availability for next season, this sounds a warning.

Good point Peter on the behaviours, from what I have seen of him last season he is a very good footballer though.

It was a shame Foran didn't make his intention to leave BEFORE DCE signed with the Titans, otherwise he would have signed on with us for 900k rather than 1.2m.

Who cares haha! He isn't beating women or pizza boys is he! He is a gun and we need someone like him to boost the team and membership numbers. He would be a real coupe

Matterson over Brown any day, but I doubt parra will let him go, it will be Brown they let go, oh and Brown won’t bring any value to our club, he will be another waste of cap space.

can't agree with you there Biff, I followed Gutherson right through the juniors and he was always a 100%er and match winner ..... his backing up and defence were first class and as for injury prone ... we kept Turbo
