I hope your right, but for some reason we have had record membership numbers with a poor footy team. I'm not sure why this is happening but let's hope the remaining games we lose all of them to put doubt into membership numbers next year.

If this is not sign that the players have stop responding to the coach, then nothing is. The owner and CEO cannot ignore us supporter who spend their hard-earned cash to support the club. I remember when Tigers members threw their membership onto the ground, maybe we should do the same. I live in Auckland, and I am seriously considering not spending any money renewing my membership or buying merchandise anymore.

Not make any changes or holding people accountable and expect a different result, you have got to be kidding me. This is not good enough and members/supported should make this known next week. I would even go as far as doing a walkout at halftime because it seems the club and the owner take our support, money and loyalty for granted. Until we take action, nothing is going to happen. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!

Penn’s ‘leadership’ has shown nothing but ego and failure. He has achieved nothing of his own and continues to ride on the success of his father’s dubious ways. He 'oversaw' the controversial sale of the Brookvale Leagues Club land to Chinese developers, with little transparency and no reinvestment into the club. This isn’t about building Manly, it’s about owning a club as a status symbol, protecting his image, and putting his ego above the team and its supporters.

Supporters have power when we unite, there is no doubt about it. West Tigers fans turned off auto-renew and staged protests. Premier League fans have walked out, marched, and even invaded the pitch forcing Manchester United to cancel a game, back out of the European Super League, and give up partial control. That’s the impact we can have if we act together.

Through social media, press, memberships, merchandise and yes, even a walkout we can make sure our voices are heard. Manly deserves leadership that prioritises the team’s success over personal status.

Nothing changes if we don’t take action.

We’ll keep getting the same results over and over if the person at the top stays.

Yeah before that Melbourne game, we had a bye and a couple of average wins against the Tigers and Souths. Prior to that, we’d been beaten by the Titans, Knights, and Eels.

That may be true, but what about our playing group? Are they equipped to deal with adversity? DCE doesn't like the coach and wants to leave? Fair enough, but do it without trying to drag the club down with you, and maybe try to play like an NRL-standard halfback while you're still here.

Jake and Tom don't like DCE for the way he's handled his departure, and also think he's just kind of a dick? Again, fair enough. He is kind of a dick. But does it have to affect your performances as much as it has? I work with people I don't like all the time.

Same goes for the rest of the players. They're all supposed to be professionals. If you don't have any pride in the team, how about pride in your own game? The whole lot of them are looking for - and finding - excuses instead of getting on with their jobs.

The clean out - players, coaches, administrators, hot dog vendors, parking attendants - can't come soon enough.

Oh yes,they definitely need to have the fingers pointed at them and their ability to deal with adversity has been questioned for a long time ,not JakeT though,he’s excused,as he busts his ass every week.I suppose when your attitude is like it is,you can get results so fluctuating as losses to Titans,Eels and Tigers to wins over Penrith,Raiders and Storm.I look forward to next year when there’s a new captain and hopefully the right decision is made with the choice of coach

There is a balance between trying to put on brave face and staying positive and the truth. I wonder if Penn, Mestrov, Seibold are as delusional as their statements about our performances and coaching make them out to be? My worry is, is if they actually believe what they are saying then we have a long way to fall before maybe they see the reality of how bad we are and then they start to try to do something about it.

That's definitely what happened, one of the issues in the team to be fair is our playing group are a bunch of primadonnas. Not saying Seibold is good, but our playing group are so precious it will make it hard for any coach to make inroads.
