Clearly after Friday's loss plenty are fearful Manly won't win another game, but from what I've seen there's an equal chance the side will improve from here.

Exactly, we need a coach to focus on instant results!
Certainly not on any long term planning around careful development of young talent with an eye on a solid future, no time for that crap!

They actually re-signed him for 2 more years but not a chance they didn’t have clauses in said contract.Every club protects themselves against these scenarios,unless you’re the moronic Knights,which now worries me given O’Brien and Seibold are both Moses clients

Of all the Manly ex players, I believe Chad Randall or Michael Monaghan would be the most realistic options to take the head coach job. Randall has served his apprenticeship as trainer and assistant for a long time at Manly and must have something special about him for Ciraldo / Gus to take him on as an assistant at the Dogs.

The coach is only part of the problem and to unwind the flawed recruitment approach in regards to our pack is going to take some time. Somewhat of a poison chalice in the short term. A reboot is required and that will take a little time but it will be a waste of time if they continue to recruit poorly.
