The game being "sold out" is great to see, but the team hasn't won one game at home in ages. If Manly get pumped, maybe the "sell outs" will stop for the remaining home games.
Not even sure that the Sold Out is real. We're member. Not going tonight. But seats are sold.
I thought someone said (above) that members seats are always included in the tally.
which means (I guess) You could have a completely empty stadium but they still count those seats - which would look kinda silly.!
Also...
If you're not going, is there some system (stub hub - eg) where you can put those seats up for sale and make some $$$$ back?
My assumption is no because #stoneage

Maybe the "youngerish" generation just like to go to an event and watch their team even if they are not consistently winning.

There is actually, but it's a little bit cheaty in that it relies on you membering (all in on making up words here) the following season:
If you can’t make it to a Sea Eagles home game at 4 Pines Park, you can RETURN your seat and EARN credit towards your 2026 Membership.
Seat resale is only available for reserved seat holders, and seats must be returned before 9am Friday for a Saturday/Sunday game (or 9am the day prior for a Thursday/Friday game). Once a seat is returned, it is final and cannot be reversed.

Read some comments from Seibold today about how it doesn’t matter that we have players out against the Broncos, and that they are confident that every player they put out there will do their job - which is good. But then he goes on to say that he expects the players to put in a good effort, “have a crack for their mates”, and “make it really difficult” for the opposition. Not once does he say he expects them to win. Which is very bad.

Yeah...but I mean that is what sold out means no.
If they said, ground at capacity that may be different but if all tickets are sold the game is sold out.
