Sack Spoony Siebold

Was an interesting quote from Seibs on Guac to the Fox Sports crew tonight…

“Huamole, when he wants to play like he did tonight, is one of the very elite backrowers in the competition. I feel like he has closed the gap between his best and his worst and he was a real handful tonight”

This has always been my issue with Guac, the guy is an absolute beast but some games he just looks disinterested or does not seem to be making the effort that we all know he is capable of…

You'll give him credit if 'he can get us up for the next few weeks', great....
But no credit so far, even after a gutsy win tonight?
If you do give him any credit for Manly playing well tonight, how about taking a break from using the Spoon moniker? You can always bring it back when the team plays crap but tonight it just feels wrong.
No, I give him credit for tonight. Probably the best win of the season. I don't think Tony gives a shiit about me referring to him as Spoony. He's living the dream and making a lot of cash doing it. When he actually wins a competition, something he is yet to do in any grade, I will replace the moniker. But as of right now his cupboard is bare except for the spoon he acquired while at the Broncos.

Also, I never posted I'd only give him credit if he got us up over the next few weeks. Just that I'd get the carton of eggs out and prepare a nice big Tony S omelette for myself to eat.

The worry is Paseka sounds similar to this. Look at haas last night.

The problem,in some ways,is that Olakau’atu is a back rower being used like a front rower. Is it any wonder some weeks he looks knackered or “disinterested”.He plays 80 minutes as opposed to the 30-50 minutes most front rowers play

I don't think its looking knackered ... I made the comment a few weeks back that he looked disinterested / uninspired and probably wouldn't be picked for SOO .... tonight he was at his awesome best again .... attitude seems an issue for many of the games stars ... getting 100% from a player is where a great coach shines over a good coach .... imho

He reminds me a lot of Tony Williams in that regard.
