Does this mean the players automatically get 25% more OR does everyone have extra to spend on other players ???
Will depend on players contracts.
Some will have clauses in there contracts to increase in line with the cap, others will not.
But no, players salaries dont automatically increase

I'm assuming too that the player's manager of all the recent re-signings (Garrick etc) must've had this included in their new contract.
My guess is it will make the rich, richer.
Yes , I doubt it means we suddenly have 2 million to splash on 2 x superstars ( if they exist to buy ).

Again the topic of DCE'S contract comes to light. What a clusterfuk by the club. He has got us by the balls. It will be a celebration on many levels when he retires.

Sure did! Last time there was an increase his contract said he got 15% of whatever it was? hope the extended contract removed that clause. I have no idea whether or not it was negotiated on.

Many clubs (Parra in particular) have been doing 'Rachet clauses' in recent contracts to get it done. This means that these players get a defined percentage of the cap moving forward. Anyone who has signed long-term recently has probably got one.

You can still only have 30 players ... they just now divide up a bigger pot .... and players that were happy to sign last month ... will now be asking for more ...
When you consider how much they are paid compared to other sports they should be asking for more
