Geez on paper that 1st grade team of ours looks great and, given a bit of luck occasionally on the field each week and with injuries, as well as developing good teamwork cohesion they certainly can stake a claim at a 2011 Grand Final spot.

We'll see how we go over the next few months before working toward a top 4 spot for starters, eh.

The Rabbitohs this weekend/year really can be hot & cold - if we can prevent them from building confidence & momentum through good defensive strategies and Dale, Keiran & Matty can work some good plays keeping them guessing etc. then we can lay a win by 20 or 30 on them.

He picked up a knee injury last week and won't play on Friday night.  Either oldfield or t-rex will play wing

Just heard on BSB that Burgess is pretty unlikely to make his return from injury. Anyone who saw Luke taken from the field against the Eels would be more surprised if he did play than if he didn't. Don't know about Wesser, but probably prefer him to play anyway!

Luke would still be sick from that knock to the head, but he is a tough little bugger! Wesser left the field last week with a hammy twinge and I don't think Burgess will be risked considering he re injured his off season op

Seems odd - Fui Fui demolished him but Luke was still named - a tough nut but you would think doctors orders & safety regulations would not allow it. I'm sure Des will prepare the team as though he is there.

Manly have won all 6 matches they played at Bluetongue since 2007

The average points per game in those 6 games was 39

Souffs fans have an average of 4 missing teeth (not an official NRL stat)

Manly has won 5 from their last 7 against Souffs

The teams have played 125 games against each other, Sea Eagles 69, Rabbitohs 56

Rabbitohs halves stink becuase they don't compliment each other and try to show each other up (not an official NRL stat)

Rabbitohs believe their own press and will enter the game over confident (not an official NRL stat)

cant help but think this comes down solely to whether Sandow and Sutton can give their left edge good early ball for 80 minutes.That is a big if.If they can then the game is a 50/50 one for us.If they cant we will wear them down and win well.

I think the betting is 2.00 bunnies  1.80 us which is about right IMO.

We did lose a few in the Northern Eagles days.  Some people will say it was a different club, but I consider Beaver a one team player and I don't think you can have it both ways.
