Gotta say, the young blokes played well tonight. DCE had a down game but he wasn't awful. Did a decent job of goal kicking given where he was kicking from, shades of Orford there for a while but he will improve.

Foran, Buhrer, Hoppa Jr., Robinson, Harrison, Oldfield, F'n well in lads. Did not disappoint at all, very keen to see how the team develops.

On the flip side, one of the worst Robbo games in recent memory. He was pretty poor, especially in defense. You could blame that he was defending with a new center next to him but a player of his experience should still do better.

Lyon was very quiet but did the job. Not sure if you could pin all the blame of the Inglis try on him, he was left isolated on both sides &
still almost got the job done. Don't agree with Gould at all that Inglis has his number.

Forwards played a solid game, lots of good meters when needed. Gifty spread the ball around well & created some nice situations for the backs.

Still don't get Seu Seu, Just don't see it. His dummy half runs were pretty atrocious & didn't really offer any 'spark'. Couldn't carry Le Strange's Le Snaks. Would rather Buhrer in that role to get him some more game time & utilize the bench better.

All in all, disappointing not to get the two points but a fairly solid performance from the boys (Apart from 10 min where it seemed no one remembered how to defend).

Young guys getting good game time & impressing & our squad will only get better. When you think that we have the likes of Stewart, Williams x2, Rodney & Rose still to return it is pretty impressive.

What an awesome game.

We have a team to be proud of, even in defeat.

Gus must have forgotten a certain 40 nil scoreline.

We had a couple of lucky 4 pointers but so did the Bunnies, the kick for their first try could have gone anywhere and the pass from Sandow just before half time looked forward.

Anyway a good effort by the boys, was interested about how they mentioned Burgess had to come back into the side but made no mention of the fact we were missing 5 or 6 regular first graders.
