Talau in.

I wonder if Talau and Faulolo swap sides.
Welcome back Talau!

I hope Siebold gives Faulalo a stint back in NSW cup when Saab is back to give him time to reflect & consolidate on his time in first grade.

I think he's capable but just needs a bit longer serving his apprenticeship.

Like Ray Ray, Clayton Faulalo tries hard out there, I won't knock him for his effort levels. But sadly like me, he's not a first grade standard player.

IMO, and we all know what part of the human anatomy opinions are like, we'd actually be better served this week having Faulalo and Talau in the centres with Garrick and Koula on the wings. But guaranteed that won't happen.

Talau and koula centres, Garrick and Clayton wings. But yep, anything other than Garrick in centres won’t happen.

I'm currently very pessimistic. I don't see us winning this weekend, then we play our bogie team St George followed by a desperate Penrith then Cronulla again. I can see us having five losses on the trot including last weekend. Then we will be in crisis mode.
While I agree we won’t win tomorrow, I am optimistic about next week. Dragons are not looking good at all this year, we beat the Dragons 13+ at home last year when they were playing much better than they are now, I think that bogey team curse is only when we play them outside of the fortress (we have only played them at home 4 times in the last 9 years for 3 wins).

Penrith look shot, of course there’s always that fear when playing them especially now that they’ll be hungry, but they were hungry at the start of the game last night and still got smoked by a team who, at the time, sat with them in the bottom 4. Penriths weakness at the moment is their edge defence, we love attacking the edges of teams, I give us a very solid chance in that one unless Penrith magically turn back into their old selves in the next week.

Cronulla can definitely get us at Brookie however. With the week off though and hopefully a fit Turbo, we could be alright.

Unless there is indeed a rift in this team after the DCE news, I don’t see why we should be losing 5 in a row

I would like to see Schoupp at centre. Surely he's next in line when 2 starters are out

Well put @Dingo. I think we’ll be better this week and give the fish a good crack tomorrow. Comp is very even this year, aside for the Storm who as shown last week are still ahead of the pack when they turn it on. We’ll win a couple n lose a couple until Turbo gets back.

I'm still hopeful that Schoup will come in at centre forcing Garrick to the wing and Faulslo to 18th man.

Our best centre pairing IMO is Talau and Koula. Will only happen if Garrick or Lehi get injured.
We can all see that but for some reason, Garrick has a guaranteed position for life. If we get Fogarty, who can kick goals, surely Garricks bargaining position and claim to a first grade centre position becomes a fair bit weaker.

A fair few of the other 16 players could learn a thing or two watching how much aggression Haumole tackles with, gone passive the middles and hopefully they have some intensity with their defence tomorrow.
True. His defence is very aggressive. Although I do wish his running was a bit more that way. Maybe he gasses himself in defence and doesn’t have enough in the tank to run flat out. Easy to say from where I’m sitting 🤣
