I am sick to death of hearing how our recruitment and retention is so poor.

The way I see we have crusher who apart from being a legend is one of the best recruitment managers going around.

We have Des who does have his favourits but is a good coach. He has won a premiership and we have not missed a Semi since 2005.

So we have lost a few young players like Tasi & JWH but we have pick a up a few younger guys like TRex & Whare from Parra and Dragons respectively. Also we got Foran from the Bears a few years ago as well.

The way I see is we stay under the cap and play to the rules or lets cheat like the Storm - maybe that's what some of you want but I think beating those cheaters in 2008 make that GF even more memorable.

Please be a true fan and stop rubbishing your own team - BE A TRUE FAN AND SUPPORT THEM THROUGH THICK OR THIN.

Here, here Rambo lets get behind them and show our support. You cant keep everyone you want. Farrer going is a shame but we surely wont be losing Snake and Wolf for an entire season again. At full strength Farrer wouldnt be picked in the backline and he obviously doesnt want to play a season in reggies or backup at this stage of his career.

Farra adds depth and can play brilliant at fullback , centre and wing. I wonder if he would have made a good half back. Hes got  good attacking passing and defensive game to be trained for a specialist half. We need a specialist number 7 after we lost Hodkinson. Im not too confident on that sunshine coast guy either.

Don't worry Terry. If you're referring to DCE as "that Sunshine Coast guy", there are a few people in better positions to make that call than you.
As one of those 30,000 or so, I'm quite looking forward to seeing him finally getting the shot he deserves.

Nice post Rambo. You may want to be carefull saying the True Fan comment though. I done that one a little while ago, and man did I upset some people on here. I agree 100% with what you are saying though.

but ask the question would you rather keep farrar and lose Oldfield, Whare and little hoppa ?

Cambo, i think the question being overlooked by most is........will young Hoppa be a consistant first grader and by that i don't mean playing consistantly good footy....i mean JUST playing footy would be nice.

He seem's to be quite injury prone to me and misses a lot of games

Hopppa's still young (18) and still growing and developing his body.  I don't think there will be too many problems with injuries when he gets into his 20's.  At that time he will be much stronger and be able to match it with the guys he'll be up against.

I doubt Farrar would be paid as much as those 3 combined. I'd rather have Farrar than someone like Oldfield at this respective stage of their careers.

I understand some players don't perform to what we EXPECT but what has Des done that so wrong.

We are currently in the top made up of teams like:-
1. Dragons - will they or will they not choke.
2. Titan - not tested in Semi Finals - have either choked before the final or last year went out backwards.
3. Tigers - need to throw the ball around - I believe they will crumble in finals football.
4. Panthers - can not see them winning it - might make to GF but thats about it.
5. Manly - get on a roll  could be a chance but halves could be the issue. Need to beat the Roosters tomorrow.
6. Roosters - going backwards and if we beat them will be gone.
7. Warriors - looking strong but a still inconsistant.
8. Rabbits - dont think so
9. Broncos - no Lockyer no chance.
10. Raiders - their GF is making into 8th.

Reading the same old boring crap that has been posted on here in the last few days has put me into a state of apathy. You people are more negative than the Sun Herald. There's no sunshine, only gloom and doom apparently. I'm reading about those poor buggers in Pakistan, and then I read these forums tonight, and my god do some people really need to get a sense of reality.
