I'm pleased to see George retained. He was clearly trying his heart out. hopefully with some decent game time over a few weeks he can get himself into peak form, in which case he can play an important role for us. Ball's squarely in his court now.

Interesting that there's only one specialist prop on the bench, does that mean Hasson is looked at in that role...and Tonga as cover for Snake.

Good to see that Tooves is rotating the bench ie not the same every week which we had in previous years regardless. Hiku got first shot in the backs, played well enough, Gower, JSL in the forwards too.
Now Hasson and Tonga getting a taste and George playing for his future with King, Joe G and Richie sidelined for a while.

Lets just hope it's on merit and he hasn't copied the Cricket Australia blue print of the rotation policy!

I imagine that if Snake gets ruled out over the course of the next week we will see Hiku get a run at FB.
