What about a Silvertails player of the year award that is voted on a 3-2-1 basis each week. Survivor is a good concept, but if you have one off game than you are likely to be shown the door.

I don't think a general poll is any good for this purpose as it is open to tampering by fools. I'd like to see a cross section of regular site members vote on a weekly basis for their top 3. I'm sure we could get together 15 or 20 "experts" from our ranks who regularly watch the games to offer their opinions. You could even take it one step further where they can have a turn at giving a brief review on the game from that week and offer their thoughts behind their votes.

I think it is a good thing to pick the Silvertail 60th Anniversary team and add to it over the year. At the moment it is a sticky in the footy forum (may be the best place for it). So far we have voted only for Fullback and Wingers. Can add to it over the season as we go.

Also I will put up a signed poster of the team for the prize for the tipping comp if you like.

Not a bad idea to have a fan photo gallery and Byso could take a few shots of a few fans and place them up.

Could even have a supporter of the week for each home game. (Bit of work but cetainly would be interesting!!!)
