To be fair when was the last kid we lost like that? Can not think of one we had who decided to not stay with us

So in 2010? Not bad for the last 14 years(although we have I am sure but the club cleanse a long term contract strategy which they believe in)
Which is fair but I am talking about these days - also I wonder what the approach would have been if we did not have Kite, King, Josh Perry, George R in the team
To also be fair to JWH I live in Bondi and often see him around.. he's a good bloke and on a few occasions now more than happy to have a chat.. I spoke to him a few years after he signed with the Roosters and was up for a new deal....I told him to go back to the Eagles" and he said " I never wanted to leave but now.. NO Chance!" And he sounded like he really had an issue with the club or someone at the club... at the time he told me he wanted to stay at Manly, he loved the place and was a local fan who always wanted to play for Manly..but the Manly management at the time didn't show too much interest when his manager went to them with the Roosters offer.. and it wasn't "huge" money..
So really Uncle Nick doesn't take our players that easily
