Snake

Imagine his tally if he had played all games in seasons 2009 and 2010 ? Conservatively he might have another 20-25 tries and be knocking on Ken Irvine's door.

Exactly. I reckon he would be sitting above 200 tries by now, with Irvine's record within easy reach. And nothing optomistic about that Hozza.

The two years out also impacted on his game for some time thereafter, probably resulting in a few less tries per year in the years since 2009-10, than he was capable of scoring prior to that.

There's more to Fullbacking than line breaks. RTS passes no passes. Organises noone's defence, rarely has to perform trysavers. Snake, in the twilight of career should be recognized.

Snake plays for Manly, and the Manly tax hurts his cause for Dally M fullback every year.

Absolutely; however, it's media driven and RTS will win it.

Willie Mason was asked on Sterlo tonight what triggered the Manly resurgence? He named Snake as playing a big part. Said Snake doesnt say a lot , but when he speaks the players listen. Willie also credited Tooves and Donny Singe.

Any reason Brett shouldn't be our number #6 2016??

- great ball player
-sublime hands
- one of the best players at reading the game
- all players have respect
- good communicator
- not a bad kicking game when applied
- prefers to play on the left ( forans side)
- been told not to run the ball on kick returns
- less speed than t turbo
- so on, so on

Need to get turbo into our 17 and full back is his spot!
